Keep Left has delivered its first project for the Victorian Department of Education: A Day of Play: Shaping Their Start, a free family event held at State Library Victoria to celebrate International Day of Play.
The event gave Victorian families a hands-on way to experience the value of play-based learning and Free Kinder. Children took part in a collaborative play mural, made friendship wreaths, joined parachute play, explored a nature investigation table and enjoyed a special State Library story-time, all led by qualified early childhood educators.
Each activity was designed to show how play builds the skills that matter most in early learning: confidence, creativity, communication, coordination and connection.
The event marks the start of a broader program of work Keep Left is delivering for the Department of Education, bringing together PR, content and activation to help Victorian families feel the value of the state’s Free Kinder program.
